The latest release of their flagship product, Impero Education Pro, shipped with the unique ability to monitor pupil’s mobile devices. This revolutionary new feature called for something a bit more special than your average corporate video.
It was clear that Impero wanted this film to be unique, the mobile device monitoring feature is a ground breaking innovation so we didn’t want to do the run-of-the-mill features and benefits video. Having known Impero for a number of years, we pitched the concept of a comedy- drama production that tells the story of an introverted teacher on his last day at school. The emotive script read more like a John Lewis Christmas ad than a corporate film so it was commissioned straight away and production was turned around in lightning fast time.
Shot in the run up to Christmas over 2 days on a RED 4k Cinema Camera at Loughborough Endowed Schools, the drama production featured cameos from the schools pupils, teachers as well as many of Impero’s staff. Within days of its release, the film racked up over 10,000 YouTube views! Not too bad!
The impact of the short film drama production was out best yet for Impero, and it couldn’t have been achieved if it wasn’t for our long standing relationship with them as well as their willing to take a risk and do something out of the ordinary.
