Impero Software, known for their advanced classroom monitoring software, launched a groundbreaking new feature with the latest release of Impero Education Pro: the ability to monitor pupils’ mobile devices. This revolutionary feature deserved more than just an average corporate video. Impero needed something unique to highlight this innovation.
Understanding Impero’s vision and knowing them well from our long-standing relationship, we pitched the idea of a comedy-drama production. The story centred around an introverted teacher on his last day at school, with an emotive script that felt more like a John Lewis Christmas ad than a promo video. Impero loved the concept, and we quickly moved into production.
Shot over two days in the run-up to Christmas, we used a RED 4k Cinema Camera and shot at a school in Loughborough. The film featured cameos from pupils, teachers, and many of Impero’s staff, adding a personal touch. The result was a beautifully crafted short film that stood out from anything the competition was doing.
The video was an instant hit, racking up over 10,000 YouTube views within days of its release. It was our most impactful project for Impero yet, demonstrating the power of creative storytelling in corporate video production.
The film’s success highlighted the value of our collaborative relationship with Impero and their willingness to take a risk and do something extraordinary. The project was even nominated for Best Corporate Film at the RTS Midlands Awards.
