Nottinghamshire Torch SCITT train the next generation of teachers, and they wanted a video that’d show just how life-changing the journey into teaching can be.
We’d worked with them before on a smaller project years ago, so when they needed something bigger and bolder, they came straight back to us! They wanted a promo that didn’t just explain the process of training, but actually inspired people to take that leap into teaching. That’s where we came in.
We kicked things off with a planning meeting to get everything lined up – key messages, filming locations, and which schools we’d visit. Filming took place across multiple schools and included interviews with real trainee teachers talking about their journey, plus gorgeous cinematic footage of classroom life.
The main video ran for 90 seconds, but we didn’t stop there – we created over 50 extra social media edits! That gave them a whole library of content to use for months (even years) to come. We also advised on how the video could be tweaked for cinema advertising, so they could target potential teachers right where they’re watching – literally!
The final result was a powerful, emotional video that captured the heart of the SCITT programme and has already started inspiring future teachers to get involved.
