Copley Scientific develops specialist equipment and software used in pharmaceutical testing. We’d worked with them before on several product launch videos, so when they started preparing to launch Inhalytix+ they came back to us again. This time they wanted to take a different approach with animation rather than live action. The challenge was explaining a powerful new platform to a highly technical audience while keeping the message clear and easy to follow. A carefully crafted scientific explainer video felt like the right fit!
It was decided that two animated videos would support the launch best. A short 20-second teaser was fast-tracked so it could be released ahead of the product launch, which meant turning it around in just a few short weeks. Alongside that, we also worked on a main 90-second animated explainer. This went into a bit more detail so could be used on the website, presentations and at events. The video walks viewers through how the platform works, breaking down the core stages of the workflow and highlighting the features that matter most to users. As the audience is highly scientific, part of our job was getting properly to grips with the subject matter so we could present it in a way that still felt clear, structured and easy to understand.
The finished videos gave Copley Scientific an easy way to introduce Inhalytix+ to their audience. The teaser helped build early interest around the launch, while the longer explainer provided a deeper look at the platform for potential users. Not only that, as the videos performed so strongly on LinkedIn as part of the launch campaign, we also made Chinese-language versions with translated voiceover and on-screen text to support international audiences
