We were approached by NASP to create a case study video that highlights the impact of social prescribing within the Nottingham ‘Our Dementia Choir’
‘Our Dementia Choir’ began as part of a documentary created for BBC1 in 2018 and is now a charity. It gives people with dementia, and their families, a safe space to enjoy music.
Our film shows social prescribing in action and how the power of music impacts people with dementia and their families. Kate Harper, a special prescribing link worker, summed it up perfectly by observing, “They’re living well with dementia, and that’s what it’s all about”
