Philips Monitors asked us to help showcase a new partnership with Scan and Preston North End Football Club, centred around the club’s new family zone. We’ve worked with Philips on plenty of projects before, including several partnership and case study videos, so they knew we could handle a project involving multiple stakeholders. The aim was to create a football club case study video that showed how the partnership was helping Preston attract more families and younger fans to matches.
The plan was to create three short videos from the same project, each tailored to a different audience. One focused on Philips and the wider community impact of the partnership. The second highlighted Scan’s role in delivering and supporting the technology. And the third showcased the family zone itself from the club’s perspective.
A lot of voices to capture! But we still managed to film everything across one extended shoot day at Preston North End. During the daytime we had time to film interviews with reps from Philips, Scan and the club, alongside plenty of supporting footage around the stadium. Once matchday began the stadium quickly filled up, giving us the chance to capture the family zone in action, with young fans and families enjoying the space and the wider matchday atmosphere. Thankfully, the club let us use their drone footage, as it was torrential rain all day and night!
The final videos gave each organisation a story that worked for their own audience while still showing the shared success of the project. Philips highlighted the wider impact of the partnership, Scan demonstrated their role as a trusted technology partner, and Preston North End had a lively video promoting the family zone to supporters.
Turning one shoot day into three videos and making the whole project much more efficient and delivering real value for everyone involved. Plus, with every video delivered in different shapes and sizes for social platforms, it was a win all round!
