There are some projects that are unlike any other. This was definitely one of them!
We were contacted to produce a series of virtual PE lessons for primary school kids. They needed a team that could do it all – write scripts that would keep kids entertained, find the perfect presenter, and create awesome animations and motion graphics. And this wasn’t just a one-off video; they wanted over 30 episodes!
We don’t usually work with young kids as our audience, so this was a completely new challenge for us – but we knew we could do it and that it would be a lot of fun. And it definitely was!
We got to work developing fun visual styles, colourful backgrounds, and scripts that hit just the right note for young kids. Casting was a highlight – we needed a CBBC-style presenter and found Vicky, who’s a total superstar. She can read from an autocue whilst dancing for ten minutes – all while dressed as a chicken, and never miss a beat! Now that’s talent!
All this, together with our experience in editing large-scale projects and green screen filming, allowed us to set up a smooth, efficient system to produce high-quality videos one after the other.
The videos were a massive hit! They were shared all over the world, even as far as China. Teachers sent us videos of kids dancing along to the lessons – so adorable! By the end, we had produced over 15 hours of content and had a ton of fun doing it. This project is definitely one of our favourites, and we’re thrilled to have made such a positive impact on kids everywhere.
