C-DICE supports researchers across the UK through training, resources and development programmes. We’d already produced a successful series of e-learning training videos for their EDI Toolkit, so when they launched a new Carbon Emissions Impact Assessment Toolkit they came back to us again. This time the brief was similar but with an added challenge. They needed six short training videos explaining how the toolkit works, and they needed them turned around quickly so everything was ready before the Christmas break!
We used the same proven production approach as the previous set of videos. Filming took place over a single day where we transformed a standard hotel meeting room into a professional green screen studio. With autocue in place and plenty of prep beforehand, our presenters were able to deliver the scripts confidently while we captured everything efficiently in one easy session.
Despite the tight timing around the end of the year, we turned the full set of videos around within a week of filming. As part of the edit, we also created bespoke motion graphics, transforming the original PowerPoint-style visuals and clip art into fully branded animated graphics that matched the look and feel of the C-DICE brand. Each training video was delivered with captions included for accessibility and formatted for the C-DICE learning platform.
