Impero Software wanted to address a critical issue in classroom management: the common practice of blocking inappropriate content on student devices. While blocking such content is essential, it often prevents schools from understanding the underlying issues students might be facing. Impero needed a compelling way to highlight the importance of identifying and addressing these issues. Boxset Media Ltd was the perfect choice to create a powerful drama that would bring this message to life, given our experience in producing impactful and emotionally resonant videos.
We crafted a gripping drama titled “Don’t Just Block It Out,” following the story of a student in distress. The film depicted how Impero’s software features enabled a teacher to uncover the root cause of the student’s troubling online searches, ultimately taking action that made a significant difference in the student’s life.
From casting talented child actors to handling every aspect of production—filming, sound design, photography, and meticulous editing—we poured our hearts into this project. The script, rich with emotion and urgency, underscored the message that blocking content alone isn’t enough; understanding and intervention are crucial.
Impero was thrilled with the final product, and the positive feedback reinforced the value of such thought-provoking projects. We’ve had the pleasure of working on several dramas for Impero over the years, and “Don’t Just Block It Out” remains one of our most meaningful and impactful collaborations.
