As part of their Destination Weddings TV production, Boxset Media was commissioned to film, co-produce and edit a number of episodes of the series set in luxurious destinations including Barbados, Jamaica, Mauritius and Rhodes.
The TV production was aimed at couples considering honeymooning and getting married abroad and showcased a number of resorts and activities in the most wonderful destinations across the globe. International TV production can be glamorous at times!
Production on these episodes lasted a number of weeks, and each programme required many travel hours and filming in the most diverse locations – from beaches and yachts to caves and adventure parks! Not to mention the countless sunsets and sunrises! To manage these intense schedules, our TV production crew travelled light with only the bare essentials so we could traverse the flooded roads in the Jamaica and choppy waters in Rhodes!
Each 60 minute programme featured a wealth of interviews all complimented by beautiful scenic shots of the most wonderful places in the world. Edited in house, all shows were delivered to broadcast standards and were put on heavy rotation on Sky TV.
